Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st December 2025. We all met up at Falmer station once again and a friendly Southern Rail staff member took our group photograph. We walked to the farm shop in bright sunshine, it really was a beautiful morning! Ian joined us for the tarmac path up to the South Downs Way, we hugged him and sent him back down as we set off for the tree's stop. Ruth had made spicy and non spicy sausage rolls, they were lovely, of course. Bobby Adams and George caught us up just as we walked on in more lovely sunshine. It wasn't as muddy as we expected and we were soon at the Abergavenny Arms where we met up with Ian again and Michael's son James. We are always impressed by how quickly the food comes out and is good quality grub. We managed to get out of the pub at about 13:30 and head onto Southease church for the group photograph which does include everyone stood around Ian's car.
